Rotten roof for wind... Dave's Power Report proved he could save more sunny side up
 What happens if you put a wind turbine on your roof in an urban area with low wind speeds? Power Predictor's answer... not a lot! Now working as a Carbon Coach, Dave Hampton placed his Power Predictor on his roof on his London home only to discover a typical wind turbine might never payback his initial investment.
Dave says the Power Predictor is "essential". He said, "It avoids wasting your money on a piece of kit which is not right for you. It will help people invest their low carbon legacy wisely - not to blow it on something that looks grand but gives the least carbon bang to the buck!"
Using his Power Report, Dave is now looking to invest in a Solar PV panel instead, having already purchased a Solar thermal system. With his south facing roof, the Power Predictor forecasts an energy bill saving of over £300 every year, although the equipment is still quite expensive to install.
