Better Generation
Cooperation Deal Signed in China

During January 2012, Better Generation Group and the School of Material Science and Engineering At China’s Beihang University signed a broad co operation agreement to promote and develop the Power Predictor Platform in Mainland China. As one of the top-ranked research universities in mainland China, Beihang University have joined forces with Better Generation to promote site assessment to determine the feasibility of a cost effective micro generation solution.

The School of Material Science and Engineering at Beihang University is one of the leading research authorities on design and optimisation for small wind & solar power generating systems in China. They are involved in many provincial wide projects seeking to develop community based energy production exploiting large numbers of small to medium size wind turbines. By combining expertise both partners are confident they will be able to promote and support major growth in the small wind industry in China.

Professor Zhang, the head of the School and Graham Brant CEO of the Better Generation Group, believe that this partnership will allow through the the adoption of systematic site assessment to also be able to undertake long term research which will assess such issues as wind turbulence, seasonality issues, best practices and management of a large distributed micro generation systems.
