Marlec's largest turbine, the 1803 is designed to generate energy for the small domestic market, telemetry stations or assisting larger projects helping with lighting or heating.

The 1803 is a furling generator which tilts horizontally to protect itself from being damaged in very strong winds.

The graph below shows the typical power produced (in Watts) for the Rutland 1803 at different wind speeds. The 1803 generates 36 Watts at 5m/s and has a maximum output of 750 Watts at high wind speeds.
