skystream 3.7 power output curveThe graph below shows the typical power produced (in Watts) for the Skystream 3.7 at different wind speeds. This is a pretty serious machine which, with good siting will provide a decent amount of power. Blade diameter is an important thing to look at when comparing turbines, since it affects how much power can be captured from the wind. This turbine has a blade diameter of 3.00 metres. How windy? If you are thinking of buying a Skystream 3.7, we'd advise measuring your wind resource first. Not just because we sell anemometers but it means you will have a much better idea of how much power you might generate.costThe Skystream 3.7 costs between $12,000 (around £6,000) to $15,000 (£7,500) to purchase and install, although costs vary significantly depending on your site.
