The Skystream 3.7 (named after the size of the blades) is a 1.9kW rated turbine made by Southwest WIndpower in the USA. It is aimed at the domestic market, and comes with a number of different tower heights.

This is a pretty serious machine which, with good siting will provide a decent amount of power.  Blade diameter is an important thing to look at when comparing turbines, since it affects how much power can be captured from the wind. This turbine has a blade diameter of 3.00 metres. How windy? If you are thinking of buying a Skystream 3.7, we'd advise measuring your wind resource first.
